Construction Management Society

Construction Management Society (CMS) is a student organization for Construction Management Technology students. CMS is a combination organization of both the student chapter of Associated General Contractors (AGC) and the student chapter of the National Association of Homebuilders (NAHB). The purpose of the organization is to educate members about job opportunities in the construction industry, create interest in all aspects of the construction industry, encourage members to be involved in extracurricular activities at Oklahoma State University, encourage involvement in programs with the State AGC Chapter, and participate as a chapter with other organizations at Oklahoma State University.

The membership for CMS is of three forms; Active, Alumni, and Honorary. Active members must be in good academic standing, may vote, and participate in all business brought before the CMS chapter. Active members must pay dues each year, must be a student at Oklahoma State University, and must have a membership card. An alumnus member shall be a past member that has paid dues set forth by the chapter for four semesters and upon graduation shall receive certificate denoting membership as an alumni member of CMS at Oklahoma State University. An honorary member shall be a person that has assisted CMS in some extracurricular way and must receive an honorary certificate of membership from CMS.
