Dr. Kim received a Ph.D in Civil Engineering with emphasis on Construction Engineering at Arizona State University. He has over ten years of professional industry experiences in construction and heavy/civil engineering areas in the United States and South Korea. He was involved in the areas of various civil projects which include highway, bridge and utility projects during his professional industry career. He has gained teaching experience during his academic career and also looks forward to cover the areas of Sustainable Design Plans and analyze using the Data Mining Application, Construction Surveying and Layouts, Building Information Management (BIM) and Civil Integrated Management (CIM) and Underground Construction Technology Development at Oklahoma State University. His research interests are sustainable infrastructure development, building energy consumption analysis for the building lifecycle and underground pipe evaluation using 3D modeling.
