James "Bo" Seabolt Memorial Scholarship


APPLICATION DEADLINE:  February 1 (every year)

AWARD AMOUNT:  $1000 per year ($500 fall, $500 spring)

CRITERIA:  Full-time student majoring in CMT at Oklahoma State University and must demonstrate financial need.  Recipient should be at the Junior or Senior level in the CMT program (accepted to the upper division curriculum).

Memorial Scholarship

James “Bo” Seabolt was born on June 2, 1953 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Bo was the first member of his family to earn a college degree, graduating in 1976 with a Bachelor of Socience in Construction Management Technology. In 1990 Bo founded Metro Waterproofing. He took great pride in the quality of his workmanship and in honest business practices. Bo lived life large, was loveable, funny, unique and outrageous.

Bo’s first love was always Oklahoma State University. He traveled all over the United States following “His Cowboys” wherever they played. His favorite saying was “You can never have too much orange.” It is the hope of the family and friends of James “Bo” Seabolt that this scholarship will inspire young people to pursue careers in the field of construction management.
